Headlight Adjustment

I got the driver side headlight replaced three days ago at the dealer because of the common DRL dining issue. Just drove it at night for the first time and realized they didn't adjust the height on the new assembly at all, and it's WAY too low.

I read the other topics here and adjusted using the two white allen locks, but the headlight doesn't move at all no matter which way I turn them, neither up or down or left or right. Is it possible that they didn't hook something up or am I doing this wrong?

A bit poor of the dealer to fit and not adjust a headlight. I would take it back and get it done properly, but guess it's time or distance that makes it difficult.

However, are you looking at the adjustment of the projected beam against a wall or similar whilst parked on a flat surface? It may be just the way I'm reading your mention of "the headlight doesn't move", but it's the internals that move not the headlight unit itself.

Yeah the nearest dealer to me is a three hour drive, and yes very poor of them.

It was nighttime and the beam itself didn't move. I went to the other side (old side) and turned those adjusters and saw both the beam move as well as the projectors inside the housing. So I know I'm turning the right adjuster, but nothing happens no matter which way i turn it.

Well it seems the dealer installed a straight up damaged headlight in my car and somehow didn't notice.

They're replacing it free of charge. I certainly thought for a while there that basic car maintenance eluded me.

Glad you got it fixed. Very poor of a dealer to fit a damaged headlight, not notice and not even try to check or adjust it. Must have been a very poor technician who just did a like for like swap saw it illuminated and considered it job done..
