Washer motor wont stop

Hello to you all, I am new to this forum having only just purchased my new to me f-type R I truly love this car but unfortunately I have an issue. Today I was out with my wife and the washer jets started pumping out water without me touching it. I couldn’t make them stop, even turning the car completely off didn’t do anything, the washer pump just kept on going. I thought I could smell burning but not sure. Cut a long story short I was worried that the pump would burn out potentially starting a fire, couldn’t find the fuse either so ended up calling roadside assistance. The pump stopped prior to them arriving so they could diagnose. I ended up driving it home where the pump started again! it is now sat on the drive, after two hours the pump was still whirring so I dis-connected the battery and now I’m a bit stuck. Does anyone out there have any idea as to what I should do? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks so much in advance.

I don’t know if it makes any difference, but I have just had a ghost immobiliser and sat nav installed so I’m worried they might have knackered the wiring somehow?

Can't help with your probelm but if you've disconnected the battery I hope you haven't closed the boot lid!

Hello, Yeah I did close the boot….had too it was raining lol got it open again using jumper cables etc I have spoken to the immobiliser people who came out today and said it’s nothing to do with their work. So it’s getting recovered to a Jaguar specialist to tomorrow who will hopefully diagnose what the problem is. Will let you know what it was but my money is on the immobiliser people still.
