Hi all, new to this site, have been looking for an F Type which ticks all my boxes. I have used previous car forums and they are great so I am hoping to get an F Type and engage in this community.

Have looked at the online jaguar service i have a few questions.

Is the assumption what is shown in the Service Information tab has been done on the associated Service History tab and extra is shown as Other Related Items.

For example V6 spark plug replacement due should they be mentioned on the Service History tab or should I ask for a more detailed breakdown what was done from the dealer.

The above VIN is the car I am looking at, any views on the Service History. Before I go see the car I can be fully armed with the right info...

The car has certainly had the right frequency and no of JLR dealer services but doesn’t look like they could be arsed to fill in the detail on line. See it has always been with the same dealer site “Merlin Rd” Are they the ones selling it? Certainly would be asking to see the worksheets of the work completed for peace of mind.

You can put the vin number in on the jag website to see service history.

MikeM, thanks for replying, yes it's the same dealer selling it. I will ask to see the job sheets as a starter when I go to view the car.

Inchcape Derby omitted listing the spark plugs they’d replaced on my 8th (or 9th service, I can’t remember which), fortunately I have the invoice detailing what work was done, so always worth asking for the supporting paperwork
