You do have to deliver the parts disassembled from the car.
This is a problem with the 12V socket as it breaks.. .. so you do have to -most likely- have to get a new one...
I had 3 parts done and these were not plastered, I left the exisiting pattern in. Price depends on some variables, around € 400,- if you are not in a rush, as they are 'over-their-ears' in work...

Hi Dirk,
Dat is zo. Maar ik wil de auto in de winter stilzetten. Omdat er verbrandingsresten in de olie zitten [ aanslag uit de cilinders lekt
langs de zuigers naar het carter, in de olie], wordt de olie zuur. Laat je de auto stilstaan dan lost het zuur op in condens uit de lucht
en krijg je het 'invreten' van dit zuur.
Om dat te voorkomen wil ik de olie vervangen. Maar voor 6.5L olie [€ 11,95 consumenten prijs] en een filtertje van € 12,50,
plus ongeveer een half uurtje werk , bij elkaar zou dit € 150 zijn, rekenen ze € 300. De olie nu vervangen en niet in maart bij
de reguliere beurt, dat kan niet. Ook al vervangen ze dan geen olie, korting of geld terug krijg je niet.
Waar die ' extra ' € 150 voor is weet ik niet. Winst ?

Bij een andere dealer € 275,- . Ik zit tussen 4 dealers in... Bij de quickfit € 59,- ...

Its breath taking silent on the forum.. .. anyway, soon I'll go on a private tour with my son through the Alps,
along the Côte and through the Pyrenees . We'll do around 60 mountain passes in 16 days... :mrgreen:
Everything booked, except for the weather... :roll:
But I drove through the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa last week with my Landrover : no snow problems there.
Worst case we shift the tour to start in France or invert it if te weather in Austria is too bad still...

Hello Dan, great tour with your son and let the growler stretching her legs!
I am planning to organize a new f-type Benelux meet and ride for the spring 2019.
The idea is aprox. the same as last year only another tour off course with the same ingredients:
nice curvy roads, good food/drinks and nice people.
I try to plan for the last 2 weekends in April or first weekend in May.
It would be nice to gather a group with enthousiastic f-type pilots again.
Members let me know if your interested? and which date you prefer?

I'd love to participate, wife loved it too. For us 14th april is a 'no-no' since its one of our daughter's birthday .. ..22yrs..
Wife leaves for Curação to meet with her brothers on 3rd of may.. So leaves 21/28th april for us only..
I could always come alone on the 5th of may, or bring one of my lovely daugthers ... ...son sweating for exams..
