The picture at the railway crossing is great ! It was really funny to see everybody taking advantage of the obligatory
stop to preserve the moment in images....

You're incredible... ..in the UK there is somekind of meet or tour every week I believe... :roll:

I'm from the UK although working and living in Belgium. We went to the meet yesterday and they made myself and my wife very welcome. We had a fabulous day and I loved all the glares and photo's people where taking from the roadside
 
Guys, we had all the luck in the world, weather was fine, not too many cars/cyclists on the road and my motorroute has aproved to fit an f-type group ass well.
Dan, the movie gives a good impression of the day and when you see the people pointing and making pictures, you know you're driving something special.

Hi Corne,

We have to thank you for organising it and making it a surprising event ! That the restaurant had a kids party
and your satnav died did not 'kill the fun' of the day !

When I looked back the dashcam recordings I realised your parents were left behind on the parking where we met..
Next time we should arrange for a 'supporters' transport or something like that.. 8-)

Thanks again for the great trip! And the rest of the group for the nice company. We loved being part of it!Also it was very nice we managed to keep the group together. That made the appearance even more dramatic.

Always good to see a bunch of F-Types together. My best sighting was when I attended an "F-Type Beyond Limits" event at Millbrook - 24 V8s for us to drive, and not a camera in sight (literally, they weren't allowed on site)! :D

To arrange this on a larger scale, say 80 to 200 cars, really takes a lot of time. I can think of some really nice trips in the Netherlands mid march, driving through flowerbulb fields, dikes, along lakes rivers and through forests in a 3 day event... .. but I don't have the nerve to set it up.. :shock:

To reduce the risks of bookings a downpayment could be arranged and then I guess it would be € 350 per car for 3 days/ 2 nights full board,
no ferry included.. .. not everybody comes from the UK I guess.. :lol:

This is something JLR could arrange as they have manpower for events.. I will call my dealer tomorrow to find out a contact with JLR...
But I get visions of traffic jams, how to park 200 cars... A hotel with 200 rooms.. Wow. Hard to find. :roll:

And then they could make it an anual event. Every year in another country. Maybe start with UK [most cars..] ,then France [ just off the ferry] , Belgium or the Netherlands [ other ferry]... 8-)

Ireland, Wales... ..wow.. If it draws attention it could really boost sales of the F-Type.. :idea:
