    F-Type History

Here you go. Looks like originally perhaps a JLR car being Copart and no PDI. After that, same dealer supplied and serviced by the look of it, although one service missed its timing in 2021 (Covid). New rear pads at 16k, so it must have done a fair bit of braking way back in it's life...

Thinking of buying 2022 2 ltr F-Type (which warranty, what wheels))

OSH is as follows. All scheduled items required look to have been carried out (which isn't much at 24 months). The only thing is perhaps is the almost 3 month delay for the 24 month service, as I would wonder whether this could invalidate claims under the remaining manufactures warranty...

    Anybody know RO18HTK

It appears to be for sale at the Audi/VW independent that may have sold the car back in January 2022 (they carried out a service on it at that time, but it look like they've sent it to a nearby Land Rover specialist since). There's a gap of around 18 months in the service history, from July...

    Car Check Please

Service History is shown below if you haven't seen it. All looks on time, spark plugs done to schedule. The first diff oil change, on the 340, is due on the next service I think. MOT history is clean. I can only give you this basic stuff.

Jaguar Breakfast Club Sat 2nd November

Very busy at Gaydon today, with lots of F type's attending. Bonus was the relatively mild weather, for November. I've known it to be colder during the summer 🤣.

    Just reserved a 2016 F-Type…

This appears to be a V6 340 which has a fixed differential. I think, the fluid is not scheduled for change on the fixed diff until 10 years, They don't seem to have the fragility of the lsd ones. From the MOT history, itooks like a car that has been standing around and kept outside maybe e.g...

New member, sad story, advice sought

The car you are looking at is OY18HFK and was originally a Jaguar fleet car, as it has an OY plate. It looks to have originally been on lease for 12 months and serviced on time before being offered for sale via the dealer network (could have been a management car). Service history is below...

What have you done to your F Type today?

Bumped into an old geezer who said he quite liked F types

What have you done to your F Type today?

Went to Sherborne castle car show. Where else can you find a £2m Aston Martin Valkyrie parked in the same bit of field 😁. And being road legal, it didn't have a problem driving across the field to get onto the tarmac for a parade around the castle grounds (probably why it's called a splitter 😉).

    Loose Trim

Oops, a combination of my spuddy fingers, when using a phone and typing without reading glasses makes part numbers difficult 😔 Photos from underneath my car. The spring clip is further round near the exhaust. Mine has lost its tension and was a bit slack around there. I can't see any fixings...

    Loose Trim

Yes, that is where a spring clip is. The workshop manual instructions for the rear bumper shows the combination of screws clips, as well,as double some usage of sided tape. This website is quite useful when searching part/numbers...

Jaguar Breakfast Club 18 May 2024

Nearly 100 F type's are on the way to Gaydon next week 😁 https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3437143873250788&set=gm.3779442795603456&type=3

    Tornado alloy rivets

Yes they do unscrew. Although there is a risk that the heads will shear off, which is usually mentioned by the refurbishers. Mine came out Ok, when I had my Tornado's powder coated in anthracite gloss. There's a post on here, somewhere, where this happened. And someone bought new stainless...
