What have you done to your F Type today?

Yes, this was my 2nd visit and picked Saturday due to the rain forecast today. A really nice atmosphere and such a pretty place too.
Hopefully it won’t be too soggy for anyone going today.

Put my car on charge via the comfort panel forthe first time, is it ok to put the charger in the boot whilst charging with the boot down?
Im not concerned about the cable getting pinched but more so that there is enough ventilation in the boot? Cheers 🍷

You don’t need ventilation in the boot as the battery vents externally via a small tube plugged into the top/end of the battery.
Changed mine with boot closed for years.

Cheers for the reply mate, I was just a bit concerned as the Ctek gets a bit hot during the initial stages of charging so wondered if being closed in the boot wouldn't do it any favours 😫😃.
Im probably over thinking it 🤦🏼😃

I re-applied silicone grease to the soft rubber trim, as recommended in these pages. I'd forgotten how much there is of it around the doors.
The tube I have is quite sticky, but it goes silky as you massage it in. It's quite... sensuous. In fact, it's very much like NO - STOP IT! You'll get me banned :)

When I charge mine I Invert the battery cover panel, balance it over the storage well and put the CTEK on that - it never gets hot enough to melt the plastic and, after 7 years, have yet to experience any problems. As you say, no problem getting the mains lead out under the boot lid - no sign of long term issues with the rubber seals.

I was out driving last night having some fun it's now covered in bugs so I've washed it.. then I found some corrosion on my front wing. Anyone else had this happen to there car.

Nothing more sophisticated than washed it last night and then got up at the crack of dawn to head out into the Trough of Bowland. It was too hot to lie around in bed anyway and the pay off was I had the place pretty much to myself!

Dragged the teenager out of bed at early O Clock too

Sadly my F Type adventure has come to an end (for now) and it was sold today. Carwow valued the car at an incredible price which was honoured by the collecting garage with no haggling - a very smooth process.

I have a few nice F Type goodies to sell which I will post in the classified section later this week.

Went in for a stage 1 machine polish and full ceramic coating. Im really impressed with how its looking 👌🏻

Cheers mate 👍🏼
Im amazed at just how big the difference is, i didnt think it was too bad before but its incredible to see it now its had the full treatment.
I paid £450 all in, which tbf I thought was pretty reasonable.
Typically it pisssed down with the rain the night after I bought it home but it still looks like its just been done, zero water marks!

Wicked stuff 👌 £450 sounds like a bargain seeing as I've been getting quotes upwards of £600 from my nearest detailing services.

He's really reasonable price wise, he has recently moved to the unit in the pics and he's pushing to do higher end vehicles to boost his Instagram and FB presence so he's staying competitively priced for now.
My step daughter was annoyed as he won't do her 10 year old Seat Ibiza now as its 'not good for the Gram image' 😂

Looks great.. not sure about that number plate though 🤔
You mean the badges on it? Unfortunately i had the plate on my 370Z and the Nissan badge was imprinted on there, i really couldn't justify forkin out another 200 quid on a fresh 3D plate. Tbh honest I think it looks ok, each to there own though 👍🏼
