What have you done to your F Type today?

Well I didn't do it myself, because that would not end well, but I had the auto gearbox serviced and engine oil and various filters done by Harrogate Jagwar.

Oh, and I finally had the motor changed on the OS retracting door handle. That's been really bugging me.

Now that bird muck is bugging me........

Gave her her a good clean take advantage of the decent weather.

I had my car serviced and the SIM card reader fixed!! Whoot whoot. It not only now works, but seems to do bugger all :D (slightly low rent Google map graphics aside)

Since the P450 is absolutely a keeper (can feel my partners eyes roll) I decided rather than SORN the car over the winter I want to maximize enjoyment and not miss out on those crispy blue sky days, so had the underside professionally treated to protect it from the weather and road salt. My old V6S was not in a good state at just 6 years old, so don't want a repeat of that. Car is always garaged. Also fitted a new rear arch liner as mine was split. Car has now just ticked over 8.5k miles.

Full Lanoguard underbody treatment
Front under tray removed + refitted
All 4 wheel arch liners removed+refitted
X4 wheels removed
Steam cleaned, solvent degreaser+ keystone wash on underside and in all wheel arches.
applied Lanoguard to all under body parts, chassis+suspension components.
Applied Heavy duty Lanoguard to support frames, seams + exposed thread/bolt heads on suspension components.

Treated mine to a new pair of mats in the front……with a red strip of course.

Had to be done with the interior being gorgeous red…..👍

Not today but the other day while the forum was in read only mode. Finally got rid of one little eyesore in the interior. In my last Jag I rubbed it off with isopropyl but it didn't turn out 100% so I preferred to cover it this time.

Good to see the forum back up and running again. Took my F type to Vertu Jaguar in Leeds today for MOT - passed with no advisories. Front tyres wearing more heavily on the inside so had wheel alignment for £100. Seemed reasonable….

Lowered my front number plate to give a clear view of the grill.

And cleaned out loads of leaves from what I assume is the auxiliary radiator - hadn't realised they were there till doing the number plate.

Looks good.
Would love to put an adhesive plate on the top of the nose, like the e-types sometimes had. Apparently it isn't allowed (in the UK), but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
