What have you done to your F Type today?

WShudds, Pilot Pete & Duvetday thank you for the advice. The car is being cleaned after a warranty repair and I will address the scratch then. I will update as appropriate!

Fitted a front end and side sills a PPF (Paint protection film) Not the easiest of things to do on a Sunday but hopefully will help protecting the paint from stone rash.

Took my wife to Arley Hall car show which was okay, on the way back we went to the Manchester Airport pub just in time to see the King

Nice. Did you buy a pre-cut kit or just from a roll? I just did the rear section of my side skirt from a kit on eBay and very impressed with the quality.

I bought the kits off eBay, the side sill kits were okay to fit but front was a bit harder as the kit shapes could have been better. But for the price compared to a detailing place was a no brainer. The kit material are the top quality.

Yeah definitely. I was quoted £500 for side skirts alone on my old f-type after I had them resprayed! I was debating the full side skirt and front bumper. How obvious is it on the front bumper? Side skirt is very discreet.

Its not that obvious on the front when fitted, but if you have never fitted PPF its easy to make a mess of fitting this kit, as I had to cut the main front top plastic as it was to much to fit in one go to get it to fit right.

Hello

I had a 02-sensor replaced via Jaguar Assist. I had an amber engine fault on the way to Hyde Hall Essex ... overtaking pesky cyclists
excellent guy and a 1st class job ... 2 visits one to diagnose the fault ordered the part phoned the warranty company to get an approval code (which was approved)

picked up part fitted today .. also checked any outstanding campaigns on the f type and our p300 HST Evoque had a cup of tea and discussed cars for a couple of hours
well done really pleased

F Type back in full 100% condition :D

really pleased with the service from JLR roadside assist ...

Lovely picture. It’s funny I keep getting lost and going the long way home I think my sat nav is up the spout 😂

Thanks Basher.

Andy, I must have found at least 10 new and very satisfying ways to get home from the place I've been working at for 17 years since I bought the F-type 😊

Great photo! Constantly getting lost and taking strange detours is a natural part of the F-Type ownership experience. :D

Went to Autobrite’s Summer Sizzler yesterday afternoon with my neighbour. He took his ex-Sterling Moss SL500 and I took the F.

Saw an F-Type R and a later V6S there, alongside a load of other tuner/ exotics/ souped up rot boxes!!!

Must say the GTR R34 was spectacular - he had two pages of A4 listing all the work done - £2k worth of chrome plating!!! Did look fantastic mind…

Couple of pics

Gave her a wash & polish over the weekend. Quite proud of how shiny the cannons turned out after a polish 😁

Well done!
I gave them a good polish too when I bought the car. I now clean up mine at end of the day after returning home from work. About 50 spirited miles return in Dynamic mode gets mine a bit dirty so I just wipe them down using a baby wipe (weird I know but it's practical, takes 10 seconds and yes we got a baby at home 👶) They're always clean and ready to howl the following morning.
