What do you dislike most about your F Type.

My 60bhp, 1 litre VW Up's Temperature reading will show 16c 16.5c 17c 17.5c etc whereas my F-Type R AWD doesn't have .5c readings.

Do you mean the cabin temperature? My MY18 has 0.5C increments on both the cabin and seat temperature..

the temperature gauge just has the arrow, i'd like it to be a block the same as the fuel gauge. very minor gripe.

No, the outside temperature.

Ah, can't say I've noticed that - I'll have to check next time. What I do like about the F-Type is that it shows the outside temperature by default, my previous XKR used to show the cabin temp first.

For me it's the hard ride and low height the latter which makes navigating parking lots, speed bumps and access to places I'm not familiar with a nighmare.
Apart from that, it's great and still, 10 years later remains one of the most beautiful cars, if not the most beautiful cars on the road.

For me it’s the missus wants me to put her on the insurance so she can drive it !

Do you ever get the feeling it's time for a change?

...and I don't mean the car ;-)

...well after 3 different variants (V6S Coupé, V8S and finally V8R-RWD) and 6 years of ownership and many enhancements...

1. Sun visors - not even fitted
2. Silly stereo time out - switches off at least three times during the hoovering/polishing chores
3. Wife on the insurance - But I don't allow her real hands on experience, just put on the insurance, which incredibly brings the premium down!

They that is not bad for any manufacturer and hardly ''problems'', so I'm more than completely chuffed.

Bring the insurance down sounds good to me. Maybe I should put her on but forget to tell her I’ve done it.

Put her on the insurance but pull the fuse for the seats! :D

There could be a little more room between the seats and the pedals. The seats are now fully backed up and still want some more room...

in all honesty the one thing that does irritate is the seat belt is a little high and digs into my neck after a while. as it pokes through the loop on the performance seats it doesn't seem adjustable....
raising or lowering the seat doesn't help.

The only thing I've found I dislike is the lack of gap between the performance seat and the central tunnel. Drop anything down there and it's lost forever.

These tools have helped me to retrieve things I've dropped down the gap.......

Thanks for that. I've got one but it doesn't stick to my credit card lol. Just looked at the ebay link - that would have worked so might just invest in one 👍

Cover over luggage compartment rattles constantly

Have you had the grommits fitted at the "hinge" end? JTB00618 addresses that, the grommits are part number T2R35506. There should also be a rubber strip at the other end to seal against the rear door - is that in place?
