What do you dislike most about your F Type.

Most things! Got rid & gone back to a Bentley Continental GT !
Byeeeeeeeeee

Fair enough! Anything particular you'd call out?

As you've gone back to a GT, the F Type possibly wasn't the car for you :)

pretty negative and poor reply to be honest Alanva
If you were comparing to a Bentley GT then agree with Chris, Ftype was probably not your thing anyway

Thing is, we are a naturally biased forum, towards F Types. If he likes a Bentley, fair enough, I wouldn't be seen dead in one! :D

Very expensive VWs, really. ;)

 my son won a Bentley for the weekend in a charity auction and it was brilliant, it's a different beast to the f type. The downside for him was giving it back and having to get back in his work van. .

I have a good friend who is fortunate enough to own both a Bentley Continental and a F Type R. His wife drives the Bentley.

Back to the thread at hand ...

I don’t particularly like the raising central air vent. The first reason is because it failed (but was covered under warranty). The second is because, for me, it’s a little gimmicky (and every time it raises I sit wondering whether it will retract again!).

I had mine for 2.5 years and it was bought at 3 years old, there are 2 things I don't like;

The continued depreciation - I don't know why, they are cracking cars in limited numbers and from my experience, really reliable
The main dealers - always filled with dread when I have to deal with them, my next service will be with an independent Jag specialist so I'll see if it's any better.

I think it says something about the F Type when the only things I can complain about are not to do with the actual car

I do not really 'dislike' anything at all. For the purpose of fun and leisure - its not a daily driver- , its the best fun I could afford.

What I see as a flaw is the difficulty to see traffic from the co-driver side, if you come from a side street. The rear pillar is very wide.
But if you ever end with the car on its roof, then you really like that wide pillar..

So everything is relative..

Get a convertible then no pillar at all!

(As long as the roof is down!)
