Rarest F-Type colour you've seen...?

I was scrolling through Auto Trader this evening (always dangerous!) and found this at Jaguar Chichester.

I love the spec. The dealer and DVLA both list it as red. After a quick Google I think it's Tormaline Brown. But I'm colourblind and could be way off?! Either way, to my eyes it looks fantastic.

It got me wondering what the rarest manufacturer paint colour is for F-Types.

What's the rarest you've seen? And does anyone know if Jaguar published a record of the number of F-Types produced in each colour?

Incidentally the YouTuber 'Seen Through Glass' specced one just like this for his videos (on a private plate). His videos swayed me into F-Type ownership! Possibly the same car - there can't be many like this!

I can confirm that is most definitely Sam's old F-Type. That colour plus carbon ceramics is a big give away, but a quick search shows KM22 BAV was once W100 STG which is one of his private plates.

As far as what the rarest manufacturer colours are... I'd hazard a guess at maybe Firesand or maybe one of the more expensive premium colours that were a significant additional cost (not sure what they were).
I know there will be plenty out there, but I'm yet to actually come across another Dark Sapphire/Portofino Blue F-Type like mine.

I have no idea how many were produced but I think the rarest ones I've seen have been Atacama orange and Sanguinello red. I've seen loads of F-Types but only one each in those colours.

This is the rarest factory colour I have seen, its Madagascar Orange ultra metallic satin finish premium paintwork. I can imagine its a pain when you get stone chips!

Car 79645
I think it might be Sunset Gold in Gloss finish. It was a Jaguar car and appeared at Goodwood as a show car I believe.

Never seen another F-type the same colour as mine - Scafell grey satin (far left of colour chart below).
Any SVO paint especially in satin will be rare as it was a very expensive option (so thanks to whoever ever spec’d my car!)
And judging from old F-type brochures some colours were not available for very long.

I saw one a while back in Avonmouth, could have been Madagascar Orange but I remember it as more coppery. The follow at Swallows says they have a burnt orange one come down from Wales, which might have been the same car.

In another thread recently there were examples of some shocking wraps, which we really don't need to see again, thanks :-)

Mine is Blackberry metallic - think its from an older colour option as there are a few XE in this colour however I've only ever seen 1 other F Type in the metal in the same colour

Portofino Blue you say? Nope, never seen one of those .....

Nah, I heard the Portofino Blue is quite a rare beast 🤭

I didn't say it was rare... I just said I personally hadn't seen another one!

I'd say the vast majority of R's and V6's I see are red or black, maybe grey. I do see a fair few white and blue P300's around Chichester.. but I suspect they might just be the same two cars over and over.

I realised, I was just teasing since I see one everyday on my driveway (as does davidls) ! I'd be hard pressed to say what colour I see most often, but certainly 'shades of grey' (from white to black) tend to be the most common.
