what's the views on products for this anyone?<div> </div><div>autoglymn do a two part pack - cleaner and protector for circa £30... </div><div> </div><div>but the reviews are bit critical of the applicators (breaking / clogging) and also suggest that the amounts of each product is disproportionate to the task in hand. hence it being expensive.</div><div> </div><div>Paulo</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

Hi Paulo, having had soft tops for my last 2 cars and now my F type which will be 3 I can say that for me the absolute best product out there is Fabsil. It's originally intended to waterproof tents and canvas awnings I believe but works like a dream on a convertible roof.<div>You can buy it on ebay cheaply,I bought a 5 litre can for £20.00. Just apply it liberally with a paint brush and watch the water bead and run off. It's also paint friendly so you don't need to mask it but some people do.</div>

I have the two part autoglym system and it works really well. Once cleaned and treated mine has lasted over a year. I suspect I will need to do it again in the next few months but it seems very good or certainly good enough for the money,

thanks guys - roof was done before delivery so wont need to do it until autumn I guess.<div> </div><div> </div>

hi there<div><br></div><div>ON this post. My 3 year old F Type roof is looking not so nice. It is kept locked up and away at night and I never fold it down when wet but it has developed crease marks and also marks where the internal frame parts push on to it. I want to treat it, get it back to looking black and new again. Any hints and tips?</div>

Check out the Gtechniq website and their I1 fabric sealant. If applied properly with plenty of product I've heard it performs really well. But not used it myself. <edited><editID>dezzy</editID><editDate>2016-09-28 21:23:39</editDate></edited>

just used autoglym for the second time - mine's coming up to 3 years - and as long as you do a thorough clean it comes up sparkling

I also use the Gtechniq for fabric and carpets, but my F doesn't see rain or weather.<div><br></div><div>Jaguar recommends Raggtopp which I have heard is fantastic. </div><div><br></div><div><p style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><i><b>CONDITION SUMMARY:</b></i></p><p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 9px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><i><b>Situation: This bulletin is for information only to inform the dealer network that the Jaguar cleaning kit</b></i></p><p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 9px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><i><b>(JLM21084) is no longer available for vehicles fitted with a Folding Top.
