If you only buy wheels at the official Jaguar dealer, then you probably don't need to know the wheel data as they have all the data presumably. But if you are buying the aftermarket 3rd party wheels, then you can make a big mistake not knowing the width or offset or PCD.
Sure but you have to take one wheel off the front axle and one off the back axle to see this important information which is silly.Kev said:

To be fair to JLR only a tiny proportion of owners want this information and can be for no reason other than non standard changes, so why publish it. It’ll be cast into the spoke of each wheel which is the only true way of knowing what’s currently fitted, aside measuring it.

Regarding the topic of this thread, I found it very disappointing that the car didn't come with all the standard documentation. To me is an ingrained part of car ownership. The online system works well but it's not the same thing.
So I bought the full "replacement" pack and looking forward to it!

Yes, I find it frustrating that the online version seems to be inadequate. And ridiculous that I have to buy the books and waste paper instead of offering the full PDF like other brands. Certainly doesn't make the beginning of the ownership easier.

Not to advertise, but my newish IX3 has the entire manual and handbook displayable in the car (no wi-fi required). Even more you can see any BMW 'how to' video on screen in the car and I don't mean via Youtube/iphone.
The voice control can sort out and set up much of what you would ever want within the main settings and the My BMW app has all the manuals and pdf's including the 420 page Owners handbook to hand in either pdf, 360 searchable VR image, or even item scan in the car using phone camera. Seems the way forward...

Not sure how switching to paperless is the right thing to do. All cars I ever bought came with their respective manuals and were passed on to the next owners so it's not like it's wasteful. Each car produces around 25Kg of waste just in packaging on the production floor. That's something I'd expect a marque like Jaguar to address not cut costs by refusing new owners something so basic but happily offer "replacements" for £85

I'm not for switching but having both options; handbook for a convenience of not having to use a digital device and PDF for convenience of quickly finding anything I need by searching for a particular word and not having to carry around a heavy book. That's why e-readers like Kindle are extremely popular.
Jaguar does provide an online manual for the F-type but it's lacking compared to the full PDF it seems according to many customers.

I just did a very quick bit of digging to make sure this is a legit site (none of the blurb in the Ts & Cs reference Jaguar) but the US forum confirmed it is a legit site (albeit from 8 years ago!). Thanks for the link, just ordered a set for my car, as all I got was the slim pamphlet inside a card case when I bought the car in 2020.
EDIT: Be aware that the prices they show are excluding VAT and delivery. Also, don't order the 'complete owner's pack' as it inexplicably contains a 'diesel additive' book costing £10 + VAT :shock: . I know the owner's stuff is available online, but I cannot stand online manuals, I'd far rather have a printed book that I can flick through, I'm old-fashioned.

It arrived in a couple of days and is essentially the online version in printed form, but I still find it easier to follow a hard-copy book than clicking links on a page that I have to scroll through.
What I wouldn't bother with is the 'holder'. It is literally a piece of printed card with an elastic strap. Will try and grab a proper leather one off ebay at some point.

I have the Jaguar iGuide app on Android which is a full owners manual and fairly easy to navigate. No need to be online. Don't need a light to read it!
