I have always loved the look of the F Type so was just waiting until circumstances allowed to pick one up. It had to be BRG as my grandad used to drive a BRG 924 Porsche which I loved sitting in, and I always liked the look of the Porsche 944 and then 968 growing up (but enough about Porsches! Don't care for their newer stuff anyway).
It seems BRG versions were few and far between so when one came up in my desired spec P300 (2018 + front sensors) 24k miles on autotrader I had to pounce. Pickup was 7hrs away but surprisingly it turned out the seller was an old family friend (impeccable servicing and detailing records etc) who kindly held it for a week while fending off inquiries until I could get up there to pick it up. Typically was a dreadful drive home with hours of lashing rain and standing water with stop-start motorway traffic, but hey ho!
Quickly got a ghost II immobiliser installed and it's booked in for a reversing camera install (need to ask on here advice between the boot lid option vs bumper for camera placement). It's a large upgrade on my previous daily (a mighty 2008 1.8 focus!). The P300 is more than enough power for me and I like the added milage. Single pic for now as It's due an appointment for lanoguard and then I need more advice from here on ceramic coatings vs UNC-R paint protection, having never had a car worth getting it done on before!
