OK. One of the sixty I did not mention : ..my first car was a Triumph Dolemite Sprint in chocolate brown...

I spend ages on restoring it [in 1980, build 1977 :shock: ], typical Leyland product... Got crashed by Iraquian truckdriver without a valid license,
on my commute home from University in october 1980, 99% through restoration. Only needed new rear shocks [ 45.000km on the clock]..

I missed it dearly, hence the wooden dash in the Metro later on.. ..wood in my FL2 and last wood in the FT..
Sadly the black plastic dashtrim in the BMW AT is dirt repellent plastic, not possible to paint or stick wrap on.. :cry:
Would have been 'woodenised' otherwise..

If I had thought longer a BMW 4 seater like an X6 would have been a better option for me then an FT and a BMW AT...
But then I'd never bought a coupe.. .. so I'm happy as it is... :P

I once owned an Austin Princess 2200HLE autobox [ 58 to go..] , and I tried to convince my dad to buy the later hatchback version.

But that never was exported to the Netherlands. The SD1 was on my 'most wanted' list, but showed so many defects I bought a

Ford Scorpio sedan [ 57 to go..] instead... Later on did have a XJ40 2.8 sovereign in light green [ 56 to go..] alike my present
vienna green Disco 3...
 
Some lovely eclectic and varied cars on here with other users!!

My other cars; a Velar, a 31 year old Land Rover, and out of shot, a 1972 Series 3 ex-MOD Land Rover. A pretty perfect 3 car garage in my opinion!

Thanks Dan, but unfortunately just one of those garages is mine. But it stores The Best Car 😉

Sold the M4 for the Ftype
Got a 430d as a daily but just found myself driving the Ftype instead so sold the 430d too, in hind sight I shouldn’t have bothered with the 430!

Then the garage queen which has turned into an investment more than anything else, Ferrari 599;

Another garage queen. It has just turned 10 years old and I bought it new at a discount due to the recession!
