My new V6S - not to everyone's taste

Hello all, thought I'd say hello formally as I've poked my head in to various other sections of the forum.

I bought my V6 brand new, took delivery on the first day the 16 plate was released. It was painful as it was delivered a couple weeks earlier but they wouldn't let me have it until the plate was formally released!

I get that it won't be to everyone's tastes, but as a young owner it suits me perfectly. It has the full styling pack with the oem fixed spoiler, I've also added the flat bottom steering wheel, suede upper cabin (I regret not choosing the pano roof), the top level meridian package, parking pack, and a bunch of other little option s such as the sporty pedals and the like.

The saddest thing is that I bought it, got to use it for about three weeks and ive been out of the country for the remainder of the time. I return to the UK in a couple weeks and intend to rack up some serious mileage!

Looks Great .... The colour works well especially with the black wheels .

As for the fixed spoiler I must admit in the beginning I was not a fan but having seen a few now with fixed Spoiler it has grown on me. Enjoy

I love the novelty of the pop up spoiler, and I do also like the clean lines when it is down; however it NEEDS to be full width to look right in my eyes.

I considered having one in firesand as I think bright colours suit the car. So I think it looks the business. When I got mine, my next door neighbour said he would have one in firesand as this was his favourite of the colours available, and as he's in his 60's it seems to appeal to all ages.
Hey Fischer,
Welcome to the club... I was also consumed with the Firesand colour so are cars are close cousins :-)... Get used to a lot of attention and I mean a lot , garages, petrol stations and visits to the shops will never be the same again. Would be great to make a road trip with 2 beasties in Firessand and I'm from the south west so not so far. Will send over a few pic of mine. Cheers

Welcome to the club, Fischer! As a fellow young owner I love it! Sometimes regret not going for the firesand myself - it looks incredible!

Welcome.

I prefer the colour over there British Special Edition Blue. Who cares what other people think of the colour. Well done for buying one so young.

Welcome to the FTOC!!!

I for one love it....red and black, classic sporting colours, but then I may be a bit biased

Don't do spoilers myself, I think it looks good on your F though.

Wow - almost the same spec as the one I have just ordered!! Was going to go for Polaris - but despite it looking great - that are just so many. Seem to be very few fire sand about.

Are you back up and running now fisher? I lost track of your other thread. Jess<edited><editID>ajbh</editID><editDate>2016-09-01 21:44:39</editDate></edited>

Good to hear your back in your F type again. It does look the business in firesand and they seem to be quite rare in this colour (although there's a firesand convertible that passes the end of my road some mornings, very nice)
