Michelin Pilot Sport 4 vs 4 S

So today I went to get the MPS4S's that I'd ordered fitted to the fronts, to match the rears I had fitted back in December (I know, summer tyres, but only gets occasional essential use in winter) replacing P-Zeros. After they were fitted, and 4-wheel alignment done, I looked at them and noticed they were Sport 4's, not 4 S's. Queries to the fitter yielded only mumbles about what had been supplied, while I Googled what is the difference. 4S's are described as ultra high performance summer tyres for track and high performance use; as I don't intend to track test my F-Type, and most use is lively but not cornering on the door handles, I decided to settle for the tyres as fitted and save the £150 difference (£425 for the pair, with free alignment due to earlier cock-up over fitting date). My question, dear F-Typists, is has anyone else run with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres and how have you found grip, wear, noise etc?

Anything has got to be better than the P-Zero Grips, even a set of Ditchfinders™️ would have more grip in temperatures below 12°C

I can only comment on 4S’s (XF-R) or Cross Climate 2 (on my van)
