Evening all,<div><br></div><div>I sincerely hope you are having a lovely Easter and have taken the opportunity to get out in your F-Types in the lovely weather today - I'm pretty sure that the standard UK Bank Holiday weather will be returning in the very near future...</div><div><br></div><div>Anyway, onto the bit of concern I'm having:</div><div><br></div><div>My brand new F-Type R 2WD is now built and due for pick up in the next week and a half or so. Exciting stuff! And then today, I read a post on Facebook (the Enthusiasts Club page?) that is saying that Jaguar have been installing new ECU software that makes the car's exhaust significantly quieter when they go in for service. Now, should this be true, I can't imagine that this won't have been installed on new cars before they leave the factory.</div><div><br></div><div>I'm therefore a bit worried that I won't be getting the sound that I ordered (which sold the car to me in the first place).</div><div><br></div><div>My questions to you guys are these:</div><div><br></div><div>1. Has anyone noticed this being the case after they have had their car serviced? (V6 or V8, non-switchable, loud or quiet mode)</div><div>2. Has anyone picked up a 2017 V6, V6S or V8R recently and, if so, have you found the sound of the car to be a disappointment or everything you hoped it would be?</div><div><br></div><div>I know this is a proper "first world problem" but just hoping I'm not going to be disappointed after spending this amount of cash...</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you friendly Jaguar F-Type peeps!</div><div><br></div><div>Seb</div>
