Covering of bonnet vents

As winter is coming up has anyone got any ideas to cover the vents on the bonnet or put something underneath. . I don't want a cover as on my last jaguar it scratched it.

Any ideas

Thank you guys

So assuming you mean just whilst parked up I found the best thing was some thick pvc such as from an HD carrier bag.
In the rain this “sticks” to the bonnet but is simple to quickly remove / wipe dry.
I cut 2 pieces shaped to the vents but it’s probably better just to use a rectangle and pop the edge under the wipers.
Not elegant, but cheap and effective!

I've had Jaguars with bonnet vents since October 2009, all parked out in the open, and never had issues with them. I do admit the vent placement on the RWD cars might be problematic, though, but that applies all year round, not just winter.

Alternatively, if I had got a RWD then I was going to use rubber attached to the engine cover to deflect the water.

Several posts here suggest that solution including this one:
