I just make it into the youngest category!
:D i'm really not enjoying having turned 40 on that front, I did a very sobering survey yesterday that put me into 40-64 :'(

At ajbh. I'm not sure when you turend 40, but having been thru it and not having enjoyed it either AND going through a "mid-life" crisis, I assure you that like everything in life, you get used to it.
Every cloud has a silver lining, in 10 years from now, we'll look back and say "I wish I were 40 again ..."

Try passing 60. I'm having a mid life crisis every 5-10 years and have a trail of evidence in a warehouse with no purpose than storing Jeeps

40 the Jeeps, 50 a Z4, 55 a need for a second home and 60 brought the F Type

This year rolling 12 months it's travel. Aside around 80 flights to and from Spain on business, I've been to Madeira, 2 weeks time is Spain and then June is Austria, before 2 more holidays in Spain. You can't beat a good crisis to keep you young, just they seem to be getting more frequent as the years pass :)

The good thing about having a mid-life crisis at 60 means you've got another 60 to keep enjoying your Jag! :D

Only on the survey front, 30s were my best decade yet, I'm assuming 40s will be the same :D Except now I can apparently injure myself while sleeping :p #oldladyjoints #oohmyneck

Although we all share something in common, which is the reason we're on this forum, this thread at least highlights our difference's and that each has followed a different path.

Some have attained in the 20's what has been practical and possible for others to attain 20-30 years later in life.

Our experience's in between differ markedly, but at the end, we'll all finish the race in much the same way.

While the machines we own and love will be look and feel the same at the end of its lives, unfortunately the same can't be said for us, with the human body being genetically programmed to call it quit's after a certain date.
I've said it before and while I am glad I was "eventually" able to get an F Type, I wish I was in a position to get it when I was 30.

Doesn't matter what age you get in a F Type, the only difference is how long it takes you to get in and out of it.
:D :D :D

It's difficult geting out of an F-Type at any age, though the reasons may change over time. :D

I'm well into the +59 group :( but I'm still 25 in my head! The F-Type reinforces that belief, too. ;)

Me too
F type reinforces that I’m young. Playing in a competition Jeep many weekends doesn’t do anything to dispel the illusion. Just makes me realise I’m lucky, stupid and still healthy.
BTW if anyone thinks an F Type is hard to get in then try a lifted Jeep in a river or stuck at 45 degrees

I need to change my vote as I've ticked over to the 40 bracket now :?

I truly aim to be a owner very soon. Had an S2000 a few years ago and a jensen healey before that and loved the experience but need to get back into something like an f type as the natural upgrade. The S2k was great but the F type sounds like the next step up. In my age bracket (57) it is the ideal candidate.
As far as age bracket is concerned. I think this is hitting the sweet spot but would have been nice to have had the opportunity years ago but kids and mortgages aside. Now is the ideal time for me.

I'm one of the 32 50-59ers. I've had petrolhead cars most of my driving life. Kid's and mortgages have interfered occasionally but having become an empty-nester I noticed a space on the drive. It lasted precisely 5 days!
