Autoglym lifeshine or other?

Hi all

Dealer tried to sell me autoglym lifeshine at some ridiculously over the top price. Whilst I think it's a good product and works well, just wondered if anyone had any other recommendations? Also can anyone recommend a company in Hampshire who can do it?

Cheers

Nick

Forget that, it's a dealership rip off. You may want to look into a ceramic coating offered by many pro detailers. This will give you some great protection and can last upto a couple of years. Failing that you can get some great sealants out there. Easy wipe on wipe off and can last anywhere upto 6 months depending on brand. I'm personally a wax fan, I apply every couple of months or whenever I just fancy another coat

Ignore dealer. Google your nearest pro detailer. Hampshire means you're close enough to the best detailer in the country. Google Auto Curators, speak to Paul Townsend and tell him MOz sent you.

A detailer will do a new car detail which will be done after PDI and before you drive it at all meaning everything is protected.

Thanks for the input. Just to say I would not pay for it, usually they end up chucking it in as part the deal, something I am trying to work at the moment. The car is second hand, I am surprised it hasn't had some form of protection completed already.

MOz - thanks for the heads up, I have emailed them

Let me know how you get on.

Caution - it's not cheap but hopefully Paul will look after you. Have a look at his portfolio - he looks after some very exclusive cars.
