Windscreen washers

Hi all. I hope 2023 has started well for you all.

A quick question. On New Year’s Day we left York to drive back to Kent and the washer stopped working. I have found the fault and its the non return t piece just before it goes off to each nozzle is leaking.

I believe it 6mm on inlet an two outlets are 4mm.

Any any idea where I can source part. Do I need to phone local dealer.

I have spoke to Jaguar today and T piece comes with main shutter panel. £125 for shutter panel hoses and T piece.

Decided to source generic parts from Amazon

That's a strong price, but looks like they have bundled in more parts. Fully agree to go generic for £5 or so for a 40/60/40 hose T and probably a 60 inline non return valve.
Hope it fixes the issue

I couldn't find a 40/60/40 T so drilled out the old duff one and introduced a 60 inline non return valve as you suggested when mine packed up.

My T piece is leaking through small whole in the top, so not an option. I have ordered a few bits from Amazon including pipe, 60/60/60 t piece non return valve and 6mm to 4mm reducer. Hopefully can piece together a solution.

I’d have a go at slightly melting the plastic at the leak point. Best after it’s been drained. Typically these connectors and fittings are easily melted and repaired just with gentle use of a soldering iron and smearing surrounding plastic slightly over the damaged point.

I’ll add that to my options when its next dry.

All fixed. I purchased a 5mm T non return valve. 2 for £5 from Amazon. When I removed the old one it was identical.

£120 saving on JLR price.
