Will a punctured rear wheel & tyre fit in luggage space

After a picture will the full size rear tyre fit in the boot to travel to repairer? I have a half size spare and jack etc.

Not in a roadster. You have to hide it and return later, although you may get it in the passenger seat or vertically in the boot and lash it down.
Easier to call a breakdown service.

Cannot speak for the coupe.

My understanding is that the RAC & AA are there to get you back on the road, so will visit, assist wheel swaps to your spare, fit their own multi rim spare or may attempt temporary repairs to tyres. They will also take the vehicle to a garage or destination, home, or arrange a mobile tyre fitter but won’t transport wheels and tyres for repair.
Check your policy though.

Good luck with that if you have a flat late at night, motorway, remote area, etc. trying to get someone to call out that isn’t simply an extortionate booking agency, who has a somewhat specialised tyre on their van, ready to roll.
At least using a recovery service they co-ordinate it all or take you somewhere.

Location wasn’t given so might not be remote, given it was a Sunday but post time was 4pm so hardly late at night, the local mobile fitter round my way like most will pick up a tyre on route no way they can be expected to carry various sizes on the van

You may have to remove the cargo cover - I know I had quite a job fitting a front wheel in the boot of a previous XKR. Carrying a spare wheel is a bit problematic in the F-Type because of the problem of what to do with the punctured wheel - better to just get recovered.

I don’t think op has a puncture, rather just checking for the future.
My point was that mobile fitters may not be a viable option in many places and times when you get punctures. Should it happen locally and not an emergency, then for sure it makes sense phone around and get a mobile fitter.

We're off on an Ireland tour later this year in the convertible and wondering if there is a boot insert that caters for a space saving spare, or does it simply sit on the existing insert/boot floor?

Happy to accept that in the case of the spare being needed that the full size is too large to close the boot, so will take bungees and small tarpaulin to cater for any short 'recovery trip'. Just thought that a suitable insert may be available to give a little more baggage room for touring.

S'pose I could always do a 'Monte Carlo or Bust' type spare on the boot rack setup :lol:
