Hi friends, can you tell me what year, f type have most reliable engine and its most reliable in general, should i choose with v6 or v8
also,
what year car have ultra comfortable suspention ? i am new to jaguar so i dont know anything please advice thanks.

Generally speaking, any version 2015 or newer will have good reliability as long as the car has been serviced and maintained properly over the prior ownership.

In terms of "ultra comfortable" suspension, you won't find any such thing as an F-Type is a sports car and ultra comfort isn't one of the selling points. If you mean in relative terms, then possibly a base V6 with the passive dampers/suspension would be the "most" comfortable.

Yes, as said there's no particular difference in reliability between the V6 and V8 engines throughout the model years. Around 2018 the updated and somewhat more reliable Y pipe was fitted which made the coolant system somewhat more reliable, but that's just a minor change. History is key - how the car has been maintained, treated, fuelled, serviced etc.

If you want a good experience, do your homework by reading up properly on this forum and elsewhere about these cars and then find one with a good history. I'd stay clear of very early (2013-2014) examples, cars with loads of owners, cars that have been tuned or pimped, cars that show signs of not having been treated well and US imports (presuming that you're in continental Europe). Good luck!

The V6 and V8 are basically the same engine so don't expect much difference in reliability.

What’s wrong with US imports?

Nothing inherently wrong but it's a red flag.

Importing crashed or flood damaged cars from the US, repairing them for cheap and selling them on at an attractive price is big business in e.g. the Baltics. I think you see more of such cars the further east you go in Europe. I can imagine there's quite a few such F-Types in Poland and you sometimes see some seep into the German market too. I'd always prefer to pay a bit more for a clean German spec F-Type than a cheaper US import unless it had a 100% clean history.

I can agree mostly with that, but I wouldn’t avoid US cars completely. A good one will be cheaper than the home market equivalent and often get overlooked. Due Car-fax diligence and a PPI should spot a bad’un.
Also US spec does not always mean ex-US registered, as I discovered with my car.

In addition despite the US driving on the right, just like Europe, the US spec headlights are different and will fail the MOT in some countries!

My 2013 V8 bought with 55k has had a heap of work to fix things (supercharger nose, pulleys, belts, water pump etc) which cost a few quid but now feels solid as. Cars will ultimately show how they were treated throughout their working life, just a question of when. An expensive car new will be an expensive car to fix. Before buying I had looked into V6S vs V8S and tbh there didn't seem to be a lot of difference between them .... as everybody says bigger is better right??
Ironically despite the additional I remain delighted with my V8.

I think I’ve said this before, but my F Type experience with a 2014 V8S has been trouble free and a real positive experience, I’m only selling due to lack of use, weekend shifts working as a rail engineer really has limited my opportunities to get to events!

.

If the car is already registered it will already have had the headlights and rear lights changed as this is part of the IVA inspection. If the car is fresh off the boat then it will still need to be rectified. The lights will need to be ECE marked. This is a sticker and not a moulding on Jaguar Valeo lights.
