Indeed - long term forum member with great contributions.

We were lucky to have some years as a great forum but seem to be on a bit of a downward slope now.
 
This place won’t be the same without him. The most helpful member to new members in particular on here IMO. Let’s hope it’s some temporary issue or something 🤞🤞
 
He chose to delete his account, which is a shame. His contributions were valuable, but he also had some very firm views as to how the forum should operate, which were regrettably somewhat removed from reality.

The forum is busier now than it has ever been, and we hope that with the new software (yes, I know...) the functionality will improve and we will move from strength to strength.

Could you illuminate me? We have dealt recently with deliberate, legally actionable, disruption from a former member, which has cost us two members of some standing, but which had to be dealt with. The forum owner doesn't fancy being sued, and I don't blame him. The DRL thread contained a lot of information but I believe has been overtaken by events, namely the great news that a solution is now firmly on the way. Sadly, we in this forum aren't party to that, as the person behind the solution, having been attacked here quite viciously, withdrew from this place.

You've made your criticism, what positive suggestions can you bring please? PM to me when you can, thank you.
