What did you do to your ftype today

Today's F-Type activity: got myself a copy of my car in Gran Turismo 7. Still only the lardy old '14 V8 they had in Gran Turismo Sport and no carbon blades but a BRG coupé with black pack so close enough. :D

couple more photos of yesterdays good work , still have the carbon wing mirror covers to fit a job for a warmer day , bright but bitter cold here , photos dont do car justice .

Was going to fit the spare wheels to see if I preferred the look, didn’t bother in the end and still can’t decide!
I have the black Tornados on my car and I like these a lot.
But I do love the Storm and I am about to buy soon a set.

Finally had some decent weather today in the time that I’ve got free inbetween jobs.

So cleaned the car, and took it out for a good 2 hour drive. Great scenes and traffic free roads too! Some nice sights around Torside Reservoir but didn’t get a decent spot to pull up for some photos.

Look fantastic Darren

Left the car into a local wheel refurbishment specialist today to have my Turbine alloys stripped back and then powder coated, resprayed & re-lacquered. This is to repair a bit of corrosion which is starting to show through on the spokes and a bit of kerb damage scrape on one! After much deliberation, have decided to keep them silver, mainly as the exterior trim is all chrome finish.

Missing her already.

No. The refurbishment guy said it's quite common to start to see corrosion in this spot. He said it's because the sharp edge/corner at the back of the spoke makes it difficult for the original paint to adhere properly.
