Well had a nice wee drive up through the Clyde valley to Lanark today a lovely road to drive lots of tight bends had the top down but my it was cold , heater on full lol stopped in Lanark for a coffee then came back the same way good to get out for a short blast

Went for a drive in the south downs and washed the salt and crud of it today. Hopefully the gritters will be put away permanently soon.

That three quarters rear view is the best bit of the F type coupe. Has to be one of the all time most beautiful designs.

It struck me that when we go to car meets, the usual protocol is to be front facing. However, I think we should actually park the opposite way around.

Lovely car Mick, did you drive around Goodwood today, there are some lovely roads around that part of the South Downs
We often take a ride out that way, nice country pubs

When I first seen a xk at dealers the shape just grabbed me , and ftype is the same . from side on it looks like the jaguar logo of the cat crouching down ready to pounce the rear quarters are the back legs the power house . But then it was designed by a Scots man

Goodwood is about 10 mins away from me, so I sometimes drop by to see if anything is going around the track.

Last summer I was watching a track day, with very few participants and there was a squeal of tyres. A 911 went by doing a 360 along the pit straight! I didn't notice anyone being lairy beforehand, so I guess he just made a mistake at Woodcote. Needless to say to the next two laps were, ahem, leisurely! Watching that, I'd say track day insurance is a good idea!

Another glorious sunny morning in jockland , I am planning on giving car a valet inside part today might even clean the engine bay lol , got a detail guy coming tomorrow but want him to consentrate on outside by putting on a few coats of autoglym resin &polish then a seal , used to do these things myself but bones getting old

Another lovely but bitter cold morning up here . Cars are covered in thick white frost but the jag is melting as we speak sun coming on it , detail guy coming this morning , I had washed it yesterday but took it out for a spin just local with top down , so will need washed again before he slaps a few coats of polish on it , might post a few photos provided you boys behave lol

Well detail guy came , recommended from a friend , really nice guy midd 40s . told him to leave the alloys and roof as no need to , i wanted a couple of coats of polish on ither by hand or machine , he gave car a good wash although i had yesterday got him to put on a coat of poorboys black hole swirl remover etc then buff up . Then applied a coat of the best autoglym polish resin that stuff in the small white tub , and buff again , then a coat of autoglym sealer , car looks stunning colour really shows lovely job and cheap to happy as a pig in ..... photos to follow

Was going to fit the spare wheels to see if I preferred the look, didn’t bother in the end and still can’t decide!

Did the Poorboys black hole glaze itself make much of a difference? I have a bottle of it that I used on my last ultimate black Jag. Thought about giving the F-Type a coat of it + some sealer but am not sure how much it would add since the car doesn't have a lot of micro scratches or swirls.
