What a car!

Hi all,

Just saying hi as picked up my 2016 red V6S last weekend and what a car! Was a bit nervous as had never driven (or even sat in one) before and due to buying in lockdown the first time I did both of those was when I drove it away! I have had similar performance cars before (TT, 235) but the noise is something else! I will never get bored of it! First soft top as well which is awesome.

Now just have to wait until lockdown ends so I can take it for some proper spins!

Hope to get to some meets if they ever happen again!

And yes, especially with a soft top, the noise is totally addictive isn’t it :D
I hope you have the odd bridge / underpass in your locality for the full Monaco experience.
Days like today with a cold sunny start just heighten your senses too.
 
Lovely looking car..I really like the F-Type in red or firesand.
Tunnels...I do so much want to drive from Genoa to Monaco in my F-Type, the motorway hugs the coast with zillions of tunnels.
Used to do that once a month in my old Boxster, can't imagine what the F-Type would sound like through them.

Tunnel trip next year anyone?
If we went end of June onwards the Swiss Alpine roads would be open too 8-)

On wheels - I really like them. Apparently the dealer said the original purchaser wanted something a bit different so they got 20inch storm wheels from the V8S which were then painted matt grey. Not sure how unique they are but I am happy with them.

To be honest it took enough persuading to get my wife to agree to me buying a completely impractical car that can’t fit the kids. Telling her I am then swanning off to Switzerland in it may be the final straw 😀
 
Nice looking car! Mine is red and I live near Manchester airport tunnels! Always worth going the long way to the shops 😂
