I saw a red 64 plate F-Type coupe parked at the WeBuyAnyCar area in Coventry today. I hope it was parked in the wrong place.

It's sad - I hope they got a good deal.

They offered me 48k on my fully loaded 66 plate soft top V6S with 1500 miles on the clock. That was more than the dealer that sold it to me offered.

Hi
we buy any car bought my 3.5 year old XKR off me for £38,000... 28,000 miles show room condition , had it on autotrader for three weeks not a call.... Jaguar only wanted to give me £34,000,

Caution...after seven days the offer dropped to £35,500 but cause they were not open on the 7th day thru sickness of the agent W.B.A.C.com honoured the deal.
NB all offers valid for 7 days.

I tested the price of my XF on there and it was exactly the price I'd have asked. Fine they will chip the price on inspection but so would a buyer and I'd have costs and hassle so I would have sold to them

They are way better than they used to be as it's more competitive these days

Downside is they showered me in emails for a week...

They are a reasonable 'sounding board' for seeing how much you should/could ask if you were going to advertise it yourself.
Also good if you cannot be bothered with the selling palaver; personally I have always found them well on the low side when selling, which is to be expected.

Kasha you said

Maybe you can afford to throw away 30k but I'm not that stupid :D

The resale value on theses things is frightening.

Hello Blowfinger ... that was only a tongue and cheek post :) from me .. no offence intended

also agree with the re sale value .. but then all my other cars have been the same (BMW fall in value quickly) the only car that seems to be bucking that trend is the M2 .. but when I looked at them there was at least a 1 year wait.
