Washer spray jet nozzle adjustment

Hiya all

Hope one of you chaps might be able to help me.

I've had this issue where my passenger and driver side washer spray wash were giving a really shoddy spray that only hit the bottom half of the wiper.

I had the car serviced last friday and they told me that the nozzles were adjustable on the wiper arms.

The plot thickens as now rather than only hitting the bottom of the windscreen, the drivers side washer sprays off of the car onto the passenger side wing mirror.....

Does anyone here know how I can just adjust those nozzles myself at home? I had a look at the wiper arm and everything looked quite fixed in place so I'm not sure what I can actually move.

Any help appreciated!

As per the 'Maintenance - Unblocking Washer Jets' section on https://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/

“If a washer jet becomes blocked, insert a thin strand of wire into the washer jet to unblock it. Make sure that the wire is completely removed after unblocking.”

Once the wire is inserted you should be able to adjust the washer jet (if needed) by slightly moving it to the direction that you require and it may take a few times to get it right. I haven’t needed to do this on my F-Type but it certainly works on my other car where I use a needle to carefully insert into the washer jet.

You may find it easier to access the UK driver’s side wiper blade washer jet by putting the wipers in the 'Service Position' as explained here... https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=7943
