<blockquote> Hello Scoobs - Long time, no speak. Thanks for the link. I was on eBay looking at the carbon bits, but that sale didn't come up in my search, so thank you.<div>I just can't justify that kind of money, I know they are hand laid etc, etc and look pukka, but a couple of grand for trim bits is too rich for me. I think/hope a year or two down the line maybe, and the price of the cf parts may go down? anyway, I hope all is well your side? I'm away offshore at the mo, when I finish and get home, I'm removing the sills (rocker panels) to have the lower aero's wrapped in black and xPel covered as when they did them in situe, the results were not quite up to the standard I would have hope for.</div><div><br /></div><div>Captainham- Hd'ing is really something, but, it is permanent as lacquer has to be sprayed on to the surface to seal the otherwise, porous, water soluble film....so, I am reluctant. If you look on the Yank forums, some of the guys have HD'd various parts to good effect.</div></blockquote> <br /><br />Hi Tel,<br /><br />Agreed - the pukka CF bits are stunning but £2k is a lot to splash on them. There are new wheels and tyre sets going for less than that! The Hydro Dipping looks like a great alternative unless you keep an eye on fleabay as, occasionally, some CF bits do come along at reasonable prices. All good up here but the gritters have been out so my F is tucked away until it warms up ie March, at least!!<br /><br />Regards.<br /><br />Scoobydoo<edited><editID>scoobydoo</editID><editDate>2016-01-14 21:10:43</editDate></edited>
