Can someone decode this vin please its driving me mad. Im trying to the replace the climate control module in my f type, but literally none of the ebay sellers know if their spare climate control modules they are selling are for cars with heated seats or not!

So can someone please tell me as im having no luck.

VIN SAJAC60F9F8K17593

Not really sure what you are asking, if you need spec of car I think you’d need to contact Jaguar give them the vin they should be able to tell you the spec, but I guess you know the spec it’s your car 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe better to ask is anyone has part number for module for heated seats and or non heated seats the eBay sellers may then e able to help you

Does the climate control module control the seats? I'd have thought that would be the seat module?

Sorry if my post was confusing, that vin number ive posted is for the car that the climate control module im buying has come from. These scrap part sellers dont have any way of turning the modules on to see if they are the seat heated versions. The heated seat selectors are built in to the left and right climate control/heating dials..

I could ask for the part number to check actually, thats a good point. But just as easy (so i thought) would be to decode the Vin number but when i do this i get all sorts of bollocks back from the decoders ive used, none of them are correct.

When I was considering a seat swap I looked at these switches that - from the photos of other items being sold from the same car - had come off a 400 Sport, as they all have heated seats as standard.

Also, many of these parts on eBay are shown with the part number, so you could look up the correct ID to look out for.

Or go for one like this that is shown working….eBay item number:146119852768

Surely they can check by simply seeing if the controls can be 'pressed' in. The non-heated/cooled seat buttons definitely don't 'press' on my car, so I'd have thought it was a simple way to check?
