Very well spec’d and nice looking car - good luck with the sale to an appreciative owner James.

Are you staying in the same vein for your next car, or is something more practical needed now?

…oh and just to mention - those alloys are Turbine, and the best looking ones in my book.

Thanks Lunar - I agree these wheels are the best for early MY F-Types.

I did seriously consider getting an F-Type R 5.0 with all the toys, but couldn't quite bring myself to that level of fuel bill and road tax.
... so I've put a deposit on a (just slightly) more practical Porsche 991 Turbo, never had a Porker before so I have to own one for a while.

Very happy memories of the V6S though, something I'll always relish with a smile :D :D :D

Thanks Everyone 8-)

That's an extremely well specced example. Good luck with the sale, good luck with the posh beetle ;) and let us know how you get on with it compared to the F-Type.

Go for a post March 2017 and the road tax is (last year for me) £190. Fuel bills aren't that excessive considering the power, either, and surprisingly frugal unless you have a consistently heavy right foot..

Thank you Major Tom, I will indeed report on the Posh Beetle

I've got a 340bhp F-Type and a 997 Turbo so it'll be interesting to hear your views on how the two cars compare.

For a Porsche Forum that is even more engaging and useful than this one make sure to sign up to 911uk.com

Good luck with the sale.

Evening Friends

Due to multiple time-wasters in the private sales market, my cherished F-Type V6S is now up for grabs via Baytree Cars in Derby: https://www.baytreecars.com/used-jaguar-f-type-derby-derbyshire-6692992
Please give Baytree a call and ask for Steve if you're interested, he's an easy no-pressure guy to deal with.

See you at Sports Cars in the Park (SCITP) Newby Hall 4th May :D I'll be on the 3 Counties Car Club stand

Lovely original and best shape F-Type in a beautiful colour.

I can vouch that you can be confident dealing with Baytree, be it Steve or Emily.
…just don’t get distracted by some of the other cars they offer!
