Union Jack ‘S’ Badge

The coloured insert part of my ‘S’ badge had fallen out leaving just the chrome bit, which looked shoddy.
So I ordered one of these Union Jack ones on eBay for a fiver and fitted it today, quite pleased with how it looks. Its in the details I guess!

I’ve bought both the Union Jack and Original “S” badges in black as I was curious what they would look like on the car.

Can I ask, is your badge metal or plastic? These ones are metal and I was unsure if they would go to the shape of the rear bumper? My bumper had been de-badged so I’m unsure of the placement (It’s a job for the future)

Hi Owllo, nice motor! Yes it’s metal. It’s flat but for that small area it occupies, it seats fine. I just carefully pulled the old one off with some 15lb fishing line behind, cleaned the surface with a little T-Cut, and stuck the new one on in the same position.
