UAD firmware upgrade

Can anybody help with where i get and how i install upgrades on a UAD infotainment setup?

below is the version I'm on, reason I'm asking is WhatsApp messages seem to be not working any more, when one comes in if i touch it to hear it, it kinda crashes back to the UAD menu where i have to touch CarPlay again

I'm not sure but isn't that the Android Auto menu?
Either you have to exit from Android Auto or disconnect your phone so UAD goes back to it´s main screen.
I think if you start the car with no phone connection you should be able to hold the physical "house" button to switch between old and new interface.
In the UAV interface you should find something like...

Also there is a firmware update menu.

maybe we have different systems, it wasn't the android auto i was in, it was the main settings 'IA settings"

I don't see anything regarding upgrading, i'll have to pop an email to the company that installed it i guess
