Tyres - YES TYRES again

So quick question.

Anyone running Goodyear F1 Supersports.
Gonna change out my "as new" PZeros.

I know every one raves about Michelin 4s, BUT the goodyears can be had a lot cheaper (more beer tokens), and in some recent tests (which i take with a pinch of salt) come out on par with 4S.

Im basically asking if anyone has real world feedback of F1s on Ftypes?

No idea about the F1s but some folk on the US forum rave about the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06+.

Lack of feedback is usually the only indicator you need, to tell if a product is any good or not.

Well - i followed all the discussions, looked at reviews, youtube etc etc etc and plumped for the f1 supersports on my rears given first time i drove in the wet on the p zeros i fishtailed on the m5 on ramp and thought ***** this!! So far no regrets, definitely feel braver with them on and have not noticed extra noise and definitely notice the extra grip

No real world experience here and I just had a full set of MP4S fitted but on my last supercharged XF I was super happy with the 20" Goodyear Eagle F1s that I replaced the OEM Dunlops with. Of course the F1 Supersports are a different tyre but overall Goodyear seem to make great performance tyres so the Supersports should be a safe bet.

I have had F1s before on my Rs4 and S4 and rated them - but they were 4wd. My FType is RWD.
On a recent EVO mag test the F1s came out better than the MP4S - but again test was an AWD car......and as its a "test" real world feedback is better.

F1s are below 800 fitted for 20" sizing, the MP4S are just over 1k, plus the stock of MP4s is hit or miss. Suppose see what is in stock in a few weeks when i change.

I've had no squeaky bum moments on my Pirellis with AWD, which was quite a relevation after experiencing them on my previous RWD XKR.

Hi all. As of this morning I was still running on the original pair of front 9 year old 21K Perelli P Zeros down to 3mm but due to age, heavy steering and some tram-lining decided to change them for a pair of Continental Sport Contact 7. (Chosen for the good reviews on this new tyre) Also had 4 wheel alignment done. As is always the case with fitting new tyres this has transformed the car, wow what a difference! A big shout out to Tyre Point in Maidstone who really impressed me; their workshop is the cleanest and most well managed that I have come across with really friendly and professional staff I would highly recommend them.

Probably find out from Goodyear and Conti if their tyres are specced for the F Type. According to my fitment centre the only tires recommended for the F Type is the MPS4 and Pirelli P Zero.
I went for the Michelin at higher cost with no regrets.
Even the fitment guys said it was a great tire
