the concept looks great!

Interesting stuff.
Unfortunately another journo still referring to the "Ford sourced V6".
Only thing "our" V6 has in common with the old Ford V6 is that they both have six cylinders.

I thought the v6 was a derivative of the v8 which is based on the ford unit. I'm new to this jag world though so that's probably a mistake ;)

The current V6 is actually the V8 but with 3 pot heads and internals.
External dimensions are the same for both.
The V8 is an all-new engine from 2009 and the V6 was released in 2012.
The confusion can be that they are both built at the Ford plant at Bridgend in a separate plant within a plant by Jaguar staff.
Not being a geek but the number of times I've been told I have an "old Ford V6" has really annoyed me.

Interesting.
Looks quite nice in this render as well...
