Stop start engine wear

2014 car, my stop start doesn’t work in dynamic mode (battery is new and healthy)
Also stop start won’t work with the AC on

I remember on my Bmw 135i (the 1 series coupe) there were about 15 different items which would cancel stop/start
AC
Engine temp
Outside temp
De mister
Battery health
Etc
 
This is the list from the manual for a 2019 F-Type.
Any defects in the battery management modules can also prevent it working and will need a software update to fix.

I can confirm after trying last night that, the stop start stays active in any mode including paddle shift, dynamic , sport shift. 2017 AWD R 5.0. Or should I say the A active light stayed on throughout all tests. Cannot confirm the actual stop start due to the short run done. But would have thought if the light was on then the function was on.
 
While the function may be active, I bet the car will still reserve the right to ignore it if the conditions listed in the manual apply. ;)
 
Yes you may be right there. I drive a lot of the time in dyn & sport /manual shifting, just cannot remember if engine stopped or not.
 
Checked mine today and when I put it in Dynamic mode the ECO light goes off. Hadn't noticed that before so ignore my earlier comment.
; must have had a blonde moment. Only taken me 13 months to notice :D
 
To put automatic start/stop definitely off, search on youtube for 'f type auto on/off disabled' and pull the connector...
