Steering Lightness at speed.

Having recently had to the opportunity to drive on unregulated speed limit roads I was very surprised at how very light the steering became at speeds in excess of 150 mph on my V6s RWD coupe. Is this normal and/or is there a way that the steering can be damped? I tried both Dynamic and Standard with no improvement.
Incidentally, at 150 mph indicated on the speedometer, the Gps was showing 146

Hmm, can't say I've noticed that the steering got noticeably light on the autobahn. AFAIK it's supposed to firm up with higher speeds.

Do you have the configurable dynamic mode and if so did you check how the steering is set up in dynamic mode? As a side note, I can't really notice any difference between how the steering feels in normal mode and dynamic mode.

Are you on hydraulic or electric steering?

Putting a few car details like model year in your footer always helps people advise you better.

What are your tyre pressures set to?

When I replaced the tyres on my V6 at 3 years, the 4 wheel alignment check showed the front wheels had 2 degrees of toe out, from delivery new, rather than the correct 2 degrees of toe in. Afterwards it reduced the sensitivity and lightness at speed and made the car more planted in a straight line. Just a thought, in case your alignment hasn't been checked.

The car is MY17.
I recently changed the tyres to PS4's and then had an extensive check including toe in etc., and reset to factory setting on a Hunter System by a Demon Tweeks outlet.
I checked the tyres at 38 psi which when warm seems to take them up to about 42 according to the readout on the dash - I do use a propper pressure gauge to check.
I went into the Dynamics settings but could not find any ability to adjust either Dynamic or Standard beyond the factory setting.
I suspect I was expecting my car to be more "Planted" at high speed.
Here in England driving to and from Scotland on the M6 from Shap onwards early in the mornings at speeds up to 100 she is steady as a rock.

Recommendation to Increase tyre pressure is shown in the Handbook BUT it does not say over what distance this should be done, I only expected to be driving at high speed for a few miles and my speed was dependent upon the traffic encountered.

This probably has nothing to do with your issue but FWIW .....
I had numerous occasions when the front end of my 2021 P380 felt as though it was floating.
I was not going particularly fast, though if I had been I probably would have left a brown stain on the driver's seat.
While I never did pin down exactly what the cause of the problem was, there seemed to be two possible candidates -
road surface or tires. Tire pressures were correct (37psi cold) and the tires were pretty new P-Zero's.
However since switching to Mich. PS AS 4 all seasons, I have not noticed the same issue, so probably the tires.
I have noticed that 37psi cold equates to about 43-45psi after distance driving.

MY2015 v6s coupe here. Steering feels nice and weighty up to vmax. Steering feels considerably weightier than my 2005 BMW650 coupe at high speeds. Tyre presures were 38 all round on 20 inch wheels. Hunter alignment was done about 3k miles ago, but only required small tweaks.
Kendal to Shap A road is a driving delight.
