South West (ish) Dealer Recommendations

Have my first service coming up in a couple of months since I bought my F-Type (car was registered in 2018 so 72 month service will be due). Dealer I bought the car from is too far away to use so I'm looking at dealers nearest to home. I live just north of Bristol meaning the local dealer for me is Sytner Bristol. Anyone have any experience of using them for servicing?

I'm happy to travel further afield to Cardiff or Cheltenham if need be. I'd be happy to use a Jaguar specialist but not sure who would be the best / nearest to me.

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Currently I am covered by a Jaguar Warranty so would prefer to get service done by a dealer this time.

As I said, I'm happy to consider an indi in the future but which one?

For JLR dealer definitely Dick Lovett Melksham. I use them for mine and they have been excellent. Used Dick Lovett dealerships for many years and still do with two other cars and not yet had a single bad experience. That is why I chose to take my F Type to them rather than the local JLR dealership.

Just a point, if you want DL to give you a loaner while your’s is serviced, bookings are already around late Oct/Nov. If you don’t need a car they can fit you in earlier. I was there last week to make an advance booking. Service, MOT and ex warranty repair. My choice, first week January. Well prepared, used to be a Boy Scout

Thanks for the heads up. My service isn't due until early Nov and I may not need a car as my daughter lives in Chippenham and she might be able to give me a lift.
