Should I be concerned?

Now resolved! Car is back tomorrow! :) <edited><editID>Rowly</editID><editDate>2017-02-16 21:05:33</editDate></edited>

If you have the in-control/remote app can you track the car journeys? If it were me and my dealer I'd be a tad suspicious!

No unfortunately not, my Ftype is a 2014. <div><br></div><div>I am a bit stuck because if they have done this to keep me happy this is amazing. If I go there and demand to see my car I run the risk of looking like a complete fool if its simply sitting in the garage undamaged.. The person at the tracking company car asked why I got him to track it and said maybe I should go down there and ask to see the car as it was definitely started 3-4 times since I dropped it off</div><div><br></div>

I would say that there was something in the car that I needed to retrieve for work etc. and you didn't expect to be without the car for so long. A gentle but polite enquiry as to why there is such a delay forces them either to lie to you or come clean about any shenanigans if there are any. I would also be surprised that it would take such a long time.

Demand to see it. Its your car.<div><br></div><div>Perhaps tell them you've left something in it and need to come and collect it today - perhaps some confidential documents for a meeting? A good excuse.</div>

Yes I was thinking along the lines of saying I've left my business bank card and some other docs in the car I need to get.<div><br></div><div>Maybe I am just being paranoid but have a terrible gut feeling at the moment</div>

Tell them that you've decided to keep the courtesy seeing as you've forgotten what your car looked like. Say, it's ok and not to worry, but please can they have the spare keys and all the documentation ready for tomorrow morning.........That might kick them into gear a bit. <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><br>

I like your thinking Jagster. <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><br>

Love Jagster's thinking .... I was thinking along the 'I need to collect theme' ....<div> </div><div>For reference if you need it ... I dropped my car into Lepsons on a Thursday morning for a 4 wheel refurb that included color change and diamond cutting and collected the car on the Saturday of the same week ...</div><div> </div><div>Dont wish to worry you further but something is not right ...</div>

Call Jaguar CRC and ask them for a full explanation. If not speak directly with the Dealer Principal; You have every right to know what's what.<div></div><div>If the courtesy car is an F, then start removing the goodies to stick on and update yours <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" /></div>
