Seat swap - plug and play or plug and pray?

Hello,

I have a 2013 V8S Convertible in black with, heated, performance leather seats in black with red stitching and the 2-way seat control. Height control and lumber backwards and forwards tilt.

I'm purchasing a red interior from a 2015 convertible.

Same seat design, performance leather and heated. But these have 6 way memory controls and I think backwards and forwards control electronically.

I'm not fussed with the 6 way controls, but I would like to retain the heating of the seats and also the 2-way control that I have now.

Has anyone done something similar? I see a lot of posts about folk going from the basic seats to the performance leather seats, but not that have done this sort of change.

I think you'll get whatever functionality you already have. I've recently changed from non heated to heated. The heated have the addition of lumber support, which my previous didn't..
The lumber function doesn't work, however the remaining adjustment does.
I suspect the additional needs coding to the car but stand to be corrected.
