Scottish NC500 Video

Great video... the F is definitely the best sounding of the 3.

And nice to hear a decent music soundtrack. Most car videos use sh*t music. 😉

Thanks for sharing Ad. I had to turn the 'music' off though.

One day I'll get round to doing the NC500 - Looks like fun.

I just don't know how you keep a 'poker face' when you go through the tunnel with the noise from the F ;-)

The V12 sounds just sweet.

😂 if I kept that particular clip running for another split second you would have seen me burst out laughing!

Yeah, that's me too!

Great video, thanks.
The Applecross pass which you show at the beginning is just stunning.
We did this 2 years ago, the only issue we had was the quality of hotels on route. They were either crazy prices or pretty poor quality. Lots were fully booked so anyone planning to go should book up early. I guess that popular booking sites that allow you to cancel the day before add to the lack of hotel availability.

Great video. We're booked for a NC500 tour there next May. She wants plenty of luggage and take her GTC, I want to take the F-type. I might win the debate, but are there roads on the route that the F-type won't like? Such as grassy centre, thick brambles at the side of narrow road etc?

I would choose a date now and book your (decent) hotels on a well known website which allows you to cancel at the last minute.
That's what everyone seemed to do when we went, wished we had booked hotels earlier.

If you didn’t go in the F Type you would regret it. It’s MADE for the roads up there.
Single track roads have plenty of passing places so you’ll be fine. Take your time and enjoy!

We have accommodation all booked. It's now a luggage discussion. Her medium suitcase, make-up case and walking kit. Can I fit my stuff around it? I'll have to have a pretend packing session. Good job it's a coupé.

What's a suitcase???

Edit:
And can't believe how low the mileage is on your car Adam - you need to get out more, so to speak.

You guys have it easy....I did the NC500 in my Ariel Atom 2 years ago.....superb, even without a boot!

Put some thought into where you are staying and where you are filling up and it will be a blast, highly recommended

We were Sooooo lucky, the sun shone on all 3 days and not one drop of rain.....I was EXHAUSTED when I got home though, 778 miles in an Atom in 3 days (equivalent to an average years mileage) was full on....but what an experience
