Rubber dots / grommets on window? What are they?

Yes, I have them also on my 2016 V6S Coupe and wondered the same. They are now discololoured so I'm wondering what use they have. Anyone know ?<br />RB
 
Cleaning the car today and noticed I only have one on the drivers side. The mystery deepens.😧<br />Steve.
 
Exactly what I'm thinking.. Can't really see what else they could be, I just haven't dared try to pull one off yet ha
 
PDI - what's that? From the state of my car under the bonnet - inlets clogged with leaves and detritus. spiders' webs, car required two day's work to remove swirl marks, all 4 tyre pressures differently under inflated, battery not fully charged- I could go on. At least I don't have the strange rubber things!
 
I have had a dig through all the manuals and docs that I have, and not a Dickie.<div><br></div><div>I would put my money on them being part of the transit protection, and would have them pulled off in a jiffy. If you hear a tick...tick....tick....then replace immediately and retreat <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /> </div>
 
Not on my 2015 Coupe either... just pull em off, whats the worst that can happen....?<br><br>*door falls off*<br>
 
My brand new coupe didn't have them. And I picked it up with all the transport protection, film, foam, etc still in place. The mystery deepens.... <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <br /><br />But I'm pretty sure that's all they are!
 
Hi<br /><br />I have just been on the factory tour today.<br />I asked about the dots to the guide. He didn't know so asked a guy on the line.<br /><br />The dot is there if the door is out off line and is used to stop the glass from getting marked. They can be removed if not picked up by PDi.<br /><br />Look at the cars today it was about 50/50 to which cars had them.<br /><br />
