Replacing Brake Pads - Help Please

Will be keen to see which pads you have finally chosen.
Agree to say that OEM pads are really dusty…and really expensive

Have gone for the Mintex pads but still waiting for replacement drill & grooved discs.

intersting ,like most car manufactuers thay never state brake pad manufactuers (must depend on who's the cheapest at the time) , i would suggest the softer the pad the better grip but more dust, i have always found textar to be a good pad and happy medium.

@JagBob
Why have you finally selected the Mintex in comparison to Apec and Ferodo ?
What are the advantages and drawbacks of each ones
Thanks 😉

They are all good makes of pads. I was thinking of Apec then I did some checks on YouTube and other peoples comments on various makes, some were nosey, some very dusty and some were crap. I have used Mintex on other cars with no problems and when I got fronts and rears for a £102 total, I thought it was worth giving them a chance on the F-Type. as I don't track. I haven't fitted them yet as still waiting for the drilled/grooved discs to turn up.

I found that there's less brakes dust using Mintex compared to using genuine Jag pads and I got mine from eBay. Also fitted MTEC rear drilled/grooved discs and front drilled discs and the brake performance as good as the Jag original brakes at a fraction of the price.
