Small on my F-Type. The selling dealer tried to put a large one on but I insisted it was changed.

I’m leaning towards small but dealer fitted large and even did my private ones the same

When I looked at mine in the showroom it had a small plate on it but by the time I went to pick the car up the dealer changed it for a large one with the dealer name on it. It looked hieous (to me) and I complained that it wasn't what I'd bought. They quickly made a small one and fitted it before I drove away.

I cannot see why you’d want to make an ugly bright yellow plate bigger than the minimum legal size, but each to their own.

Is it actually bigger though?
Or just a normal one rounded off at the bottom?
Sat contemplating this important issue before a walk and late pub lunch 😉

I thought our number plates were a set size, legal requirement etc.

There are a bunch of rules about them but the actual plate only has to be at or above a minimum size that ensures letter size/spacing/border is legal

I did not know there was a choice - does it come from JLR or do you purchase the larger rear plates. I am not sure a larger plate looks right ? 2B897705-EFCD-4617-AB6F-1B9966FA91D9.jpeg
