R 75 at Reims during Euro Trip

Reims is a great stop off - small but feels very evocative. I trust you did a gentle drive-by for some sounds on video? 😎

Did that on the way home from a trip over the Swiss Alps and a 10 day tour of Tuscany.

Ah wow. Sorry to hear that mate. What’s on your radar supercar wise?
Jag has bags of power, I feel spending much more on a car (McLaren? Ferrari?) the servicing costs will be astronomically different. If I could afford it though I’d love a howling 812 Superfast…. What a noise!

It was truely a trip of a lifetime and the Jag was a great choice for such an epic adventure.

What a trip! Fantastic photos :)

Did you need to top up the engine oil on the 2500 mile journey?....

Cheers, yes it was a fantastic trip.

I ended up getting the correct oil from Amazon in the end, but no didn’t need to top it up once. I took the car for a mid service health check where they check and top up levels as required and then had it booked in for its 2 year service once I got back.

The 992 GT3 on the other hand was topping his oil up nearly as much as petrol

👍

So much for German engineering :)

Good luck with the sale of your F-Type and whichever supercar you decide to buy.

Hope your wife makes or has made a full recovery.

Thank you, yes she's doing well. Finishes chemo in October. Hopefully we both get some time not going through anything for a while as I also went through Prostate Cancer 3 years ago.

👍

Good health to you both and happy motoring!
