Quicksilver exhaust for v6s

Sammy, I think that Velocity will be offering just the exhaust in time (If you can wait - I didn't know they were far off having something for sale) if that is all you want - as per QS. Just that they will offer headers, cats and a remap to go with that if you want the full package. <div>Only reason their exhaust might appeal to me is that (if I read correctly) you will be able to buy three versions (depending on loudness required) and the exhaust will work off the Jaguar OEM valve open/close switch we have.</div>

I agree - having all the buttons work and do the things they are supposed to do ie open/close valves in the exhaust is a plus for me.<div><br></div><div>I'm in no rush, but I'd like to know more about the Velocity exhaust and what they plan to do when they have the details to share.</div><div><br></div><div>Being able to stick with one company for all updates is a plus for me too I guess </div>

Quick update - after much back and forth, I think I've made the decision to go with the Velocity AP Valved Touring + Race setup. Will likely head to Appleby Engineering to get it fitted if I can work out how to get there/ back from London without a car!

Very interested to find out how you get on with this.

I am very interested to hear how you get on and if you think the gains are noticeable.

I am interested in the bigger pulley and ECU remap. They reckon 450bhp!! But have cooling and the usual warranty concerns, so probs won't be doing for another year or so but in the mean time I am very interested to hear about others who have remapped!!

I'll just be doing the exhaust system so there wont be any gains other than the noise

But I've been told by other users on here the 200 cell cats make a noticeable power difference! That comes with the need for an ECU remap

Hi Sammy,

Reach out Alasdair .... he has a V6 with VAP remap, 200 cell cats and is now running the Remus exhaust. It sounds amazing on start up, all others sounds are sharper .... when I met him a month IR so ago he had just had the zorst installed so was to early to confirm about drone as he was I the 'new toy' fun stage.

A plus for your car and the Remus were two big black tips!!

Hope this helps

Reds Paul

Thanks Paul,

Alasdair and I have had long chats about this haha ;)
I believe he has since removed the Remus because of the drone..

Hi Paul
It wasn't exactly the drone that was the issue , exhaust was fine on motorway and normal driving it's when you hit the 4K rpm
range and the valves opened it was really loud due to the vap performance cats. Remus say the system was designed for the
standard cats. still would prefer to have a stainless system as I noticed quite a difference in weight when I changed it over I do
miss the extra pops and bangs the Remus gave but don't miss getting pulled over by the boys in blue. Vap do a sports back box system to pair up with the sports cat but unfortunately it's not switchable.i do miss the black tail pipes. I plan on visiting profusion custom exhaust near Heathrow. Will keep you posted. A
