PPF or GPF location

Hi clever folk!

The petrol particulate filter on newer cars, where is this located in the exhaust?
I am looking at some second hand catalytic converters off a 2020 V8 for my 2017 V8. My 2017 doesn't have the PPF, will just the cat sections on this 2020 donor be the same as my car or have this extra filter?

If they are part of the cat, can they be removed easily enough so they are the same as my cat sections?

Cheers!

I understand the gas particulate filter is incorporated in the catalytic converter and cannot be easily removed.

So if you want to keep the same volume you will need to find a 2017 exhaust or go aftermarket.

You need also to check if there's a difference with AWD Vs RWD. I might be wrong but I have a gut feeling that the LHS is a different shape with the front axle prop shaft on the AWD.
